This was the Holiday Inn Express, then it was Hotel Casa Grande, and now it's back to Holiday Inn Express.

Obviously they've undergone some changes. Brevet rides give it mixed reviews, although some riders still stay there. It is, however, the closest hotel to the downtown start, so if you stay there, ask for a quiet room (away from any parties or weddings) and check your bill carefully for extra charges.

Directions to the hotel from north or south:

1. Take I-10 and get off at Exit 194.
2. Go west off the exit ramp. (From Tucson and points south, turn left off the end of the exit ramp. From Phoenix and points north, turn right.)
3. Best Western is 1.2 miles on your left.
