If you're staying at the inn, your bags will be dropped there.

The route is out and back. You'll pass very near the inn at mile 153.7 and your drop bags will be there in case you need them.

A good time to stop and sleep at the inn is the second time you pass near the Sonoita Inn. That would be after checkpoint #6 (and the 2nd time you've stopped at the Elgin Club as well.) The inn is 10 miles past the Elgin Club which is the dinner stop at mile 239.4. Directions are on the cue sheet.
